When it comes to supercars, Koenigsegg has come out with some pretty crazy projects like the four-passenger Gemera, while Polestar, on the other hand, brings some interesting electric cars. The biggest thing these two automakers have in common - both call Sweden home, but also just that.
However a picture Koenigsegg posted on Instagram a few days ago suspectedly hinted at its collaboration with Polestar, which Koenigsegg posted: "Something exciting coming soon Stay tuned #KoenigseggXPolestar".
While Koenigsegg posted images showing the heads from their respective cars, Polestar posted a similar post, though it showed the rear of both cars.
In the post, Polestar wrote: "Something thing is happening on the west coast of Sweden. Stay tuned. "
It is understood that both cars have electrification in common, with the Gemera being a plug-in hybrid with three electric motors and a twin-turbo three-cylinder engine that produces a total of 1,700 horsepower.
Polestar's electrified concept car, on the other hand, is a performance car. As for what the two automakers are doing, it's a complete mystery.
