has installed a system in its latest model to help autopilots operate in the coldest conditions.

On Wednesday, a Twitter user posted a wiring diagram of a Tesla Model Y showing an electric SUV with radar heaters.

After transferring the heat to the radar unit, it should help the autopilot run even if the rest of the Tesla Model Y is snowing or freezing.

Previously, this SUV became the first Tesla car to use a heat pump, which definitely helped the battery to concentrate on powering the car at low temperatures rather than powering the air conditioning system.

Tesla Model Y began shipping to customers on the West Coast of the United States earlier this month, and Tesla still plans to continue shipping during the outbreak of the new coronavirus.

The automaker also closed its plant in Fremont, California to comply with government orders against coronavirus.
