Voyah has launched three BEV models in Italy, with the first 100 available vehicles already sold out.

Dongfeng Motor's new energy vehicle (NEV) brand Voyah has entered the Italian market, further expanding its international presence.

Voyah held a brand launch event in Italy on April 16 and introduced the Voyah Free SUV (sport utility vehicle), Voyah Dreamer MPV (multi-purpose vehicle), and Voyah Zhuiguang sedan there, according to a press release today.

The first 100 vehicles available in Italy for the three models, which are battery electric vehicle (BEV) variants, are already sold out, Voyah said.

Voyah's plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) models will also be brought to Italy, it said.

Using Italy as a starting point, Voyah will further expand into the southern European market, with plans to enter several other European countries such as Slovakia, Germany, Spain and Portugal, it said.

Voyah launched its models in partnership with local Italian dealer CarMobility, according to its press release.

Since it began expanding overseas in 2022, Voyah has entered European countries including Norway, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic, with a cumulative total of nearly 10,000 units exported, it said.

Voyah is a brand announced by Dongfeng at the end of 2020, with the first model, Voyah Free, officially launched in China in June 2021, offering extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) and BEV versions.

On May 7, 2022, Voyah's second model, the Dreamer MPV, was launched, and on April 18, 2023, Voyah's third model, the Zhuiguang sedan, was launched.

On April 9, Voyah announced that it saw its 100,000th vehicle roll off the production line.

Voyah delivered 50,552 vehicles in the full year 2023, up 160.83 percent year-on-year, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

In the first quarter of the year, Voyah delivered 16,345 vehicles, up 187.66 percent year-on-year, which includes 6,122 vehicles delivered in March.
