Xpeng has entered into a partnership with Australia's TrueEV, which will be its sole importer, distributor and retailer in the country.

Xpeng delivered 21,821 vehicles in the first quarter, slightly above the lower end of the guidance range of 21,000 - 22,500 vehicles.

Xpeng's X9 MPV delivered 1,959 units in April, bringing cumulative deliveries since launch to nearly 10,000 units.

Liao Qinghong, who had served as chief talent officer at Xpeng and spent 18 years at Huawei, has joined Xingji Meizu, according to local media.

In the first quarter, Xpeng delivered 21,821 vehicles, which was within the previously provided guidance range of 21,000-22,500 vehicles.
