Xpeng's new SUV is officially named the Xpeng G7 and may be the most competitive SUV in the RMB 250,000 ($34,100) class this year, an executive said.

Through the partnership, more than 20,000 charging piles operated by the two companies will cover 420 cities in China for customers of Xpeng and Volkswagen.
