Li Auto saw a 13.33 percent decrease in sales last week compared to the previous week, while Nio saw a 28.13 percent increase.

Retail penetration of NEVs in China was 36.92 percent from June 1 to June 25, and 32.50 percent year-to-date.

Nio sold 8,000 units between June 1 and June 25. Its previous guidance implied 10,187-12,187 vehicles would be delivered in June.

So far this year, China's retail sales of passenger NEVs were 2.74 million units, up 35 percent year-on-year.

Nio was 2,000 units last week, higher than the previous week's 1,500 units. From June 1 to June 18 Nio sales were 4,800 units.

From June 1 to June 11, retail sales of all passenger vehicles in China were 425,000 units, down 10 percent year-on-year and down 25 percent from the same period last month.

From June 1-11, Nio sold 2,800 units, Tesla 26,000, Li Auto 11,900 and Xpeng 2,200.

Nio launched the new ES6 on May 24, though the model is likely still in the process of climbing capacity and not contributing much to sales.

In the first four weeks of May, retail sales of all passenger vehicles in China were 1,392,000 units, up 19 percent year-on-year but down 6 percent from the same period last month, according to the CPCA.

Nio's cumulative sales so far this month were around 5,300 units, with the company launching and starting deliveries of the new ES6 on May 24.
