Monthly EV Sales

BYD sold a record 72,723 vehicles overseas in March, an increase of 89.22 percent year-on-year and up 8.50 percent from February.

The monthly deliveries included 10,219 vehicles from the Nio main brand and 4,820 vehicles from the Onvo sub-brand.

The deliveries included 15,422 Zeekr brand vehicles and 25,293 Lynk & Co vehicles.

In the first quarter, Li Auto delivered 92,864 cars, near the upper end of its previous guidance of 88,000 to 93,000 units.

This is the sixth consecutive month that Xiaomi EV has seen monthly deliveries exceed 20,000 units.

Leapmotor will officially launch the B10 on April 10. The SUV model is the first global model in its B series.

In the first quarter, Xpeng delivered 94,008 vehicles, surpassing the upper end of its guidance range of 91,000 to 93,000 units.

CPCA expects China's March NEV retail sales to rebound to 1 million units, with penetration rising to 54.1 percent.

Xiaomi EV entered CPCA's monthly leaderboard for the first time, coming in at No. 9 in the NEV market with 23,728 sales and a 3.4 percent share.

BYD's share grew in February as NEV sales rebounded, while CATL saw a small decline.
