Nio has reached the milestone of delivering its 30,000th third-generation ES8, about three months after the large electric SUV's launch.

The Onvo L60 Violet Edition starts at RMB 214,900 ($30,520) including the battery pack, 3.87 percent higher than the base version.

This marks one of Nio Inc's intensively launched new limited-edition models, aimed at expanding marketing reach at lower costs and boosting brand visibility.

The Tang L, rebranded as the BYD Atto 8, has been launched in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Qatar, with upcoming launches in the UAE and Bahrain.
