Ford and Geely are discussing a potential partnership as both companies seek to share technology and manufacturing costs, Reuters reported.

This marks Nio Capital's second recent investment in a robotics company.

Ford has also held talks with BYD and other Chinese automakers about potential US collaborations, according to the Financial Times.

Ronbay shares opened Monday at the daily limit-down of 20%, though losses have narrowed to about 11%.

If a deal is reached, Ford would likely source batteries from BYD for its plants outside the US, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Ronbay said that the RMB 120 billion ($17.2 billion) lithium material order amount with CATL represents its own estimates and involves uncertainties.

Onvo has become a partner of Shanghai Shenhua Football Club, and will provide mobility services during the 2026 Chinese Super League season.

Ronbay will supply CATL with 3.05 million tons of LFP cathode material from the first quarter of 2026 through 2031.

Hesai will support Nvidia's Drive Hyperion 10 in achieving L4 fleet deployment.

Nio and CATL will focus on joint development of long-life batteries and battery swap compatibility technologies.
