BYD Xia

The 2026 Xia MPV carries an official starting price of RMB 206,800 ($29,020), representing a 17.21 percent reduction compared to its predecessor.

The BYD Xia has been renamed the BYD M9 in Mexico, with a starting price of 979,800 Mexican pesos ($52,120).

The Xia MPV is based on BYD's DM 5.0 hybrid system and has a CLTC range of up to 1,060 km.

BYD gave the Xia its debut on August 30, saying at the time that the MPV would be priced in the RMB 300,000-yuan ($40,980) class.

BYD has made a filing for the Xia MPV in preparation for its launch within the year. The model began accepting pre-orders on September 27.
