Leapmotor will first produce its B10 compact SUV at a Stellantis plant in Spain, followed by the B05.

In 2025, the Leapmotor B10 will be available in over 20 countries and regions across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and South America.

So far this month, Leapmotor has delivered at least 28,659 cars.

FAW plans to acquire about 10 percent of Leapmotor's shares, becoming a strategic shareholder, according to a local media report.

Leapmotor has become the second Chinese NEV maker to achieve profitability on a half-year basis. It has raised its 2025 sales target to 580,000–650,000 units.

The car carrier, chartered from Grimaldi Group, will carry over 2,500 Leapmotor EVs to Europe on its maiden voyage.

The first model in Leapmotor's D-series will be a large SUV priced around RMB 300,000 ($41,800).

Leapmotor has received orders from more than five commercial NEV makers and is continuing to expand its customer base, according to a local media report.

Leapmotor delivered 50,129 vehicles in July, marking the first time monthly deliveries exceeded the 50,000 unit mark and setting a new record high for the third consecutive month.

Leapmotor launched the B01 on July 24 with a starting price of RMB 89,800 ($12,510).
