Yangwang launched the U8 Off-road Master Edition with enhanced off-road capabilities at a starting price of RMB 1,098,000. The U7 sedan will be priced in the RMB 1 million range and will go on sale in the second half of the year.

The Ocean-M will be based on a new all-electric platform and is the industry's first rear-wheel drive all-electric performance hatchback, according to BYD.

The Yangwang U8 Premium Edition has already been launched and delivered a total of 5,523 units. Coming soon is the Off-road Master Edition with more room for modifications.

BYD's first new-energy pickup truck is officially named BYD Shark, built on the DMO super hybrid off-road platform, the company said.

The updated Tang EV price has been reduced by RMB 30,000, and the Tang DM-p price by RMB 40,000.

The Qin L will be unveiled at the Beijing auto show and will likely be equipped with BYD's 5th generation DM-i hybrid technology, said local media.

BYD's Fang Cheng Bao unveiled the Bao 8 as well as two concept cars, the Super 3 SUV and Super 9 supercar, at its spring launch event today, which will all be on display at the upcoming Beijing auto show.

The Denza Z9GT is powered by three electric motors, including one front motor and two rear motors, with peak power of 230 kW, 240 kW and 240 kW respectively.

Previous rumors have suggested that the Qin L would be one of the first models to feature BYD's next-generation hybrid system, DM 5.0.

Fang Cheng Bao will hold its spring launch event on April 16, and the Bao 8 and Bao 3 could be the highlights.
