- The Mona M03 delivered 9,335 units in March, contributing 34.05% of Xpeng's total 27,415 deliveries for the month.
- Xpeng has filed for the L03, an all-new SUV model under the Mona lineup, to consolidate its market share.

Xpeng has seen cumulative deliveries of its best-selling budget electric sedan, the Mona M03, surpass the 250,000-unit mark, with the model continuing to drive the bulk of sales.
The Chinese EV maker announced the milestone on Monday, noting the model's popularity among the younger generation, with one in five Mona owners born after the year 2000.
This sales milestone implies that the Mona M03 has delivered 5,270 vehicles so far this month, considering its cumulative deliveries stood at 244,730 units at the end of March, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
The model delivered 9,335 units in March, accounting for 34.05% of Xpeng's 27,415 total deliveries for the month, remaining the company's highest-volume model.
Xpeng launched the 2026 Mona M03 earlier this month, upgrading the vehicle's features while keeping its starting price unchanged at 119,800 yuan ($17,530).
Notably, Xpeng introduced its in-house developed Turing AI chip to the sub-$20,000 budget EV market for the first time.
Higher-trim versions of the updated model are equipped with this high-computing-power smart driving chip, reflecting the company's business strategy aimed at improving per-vehicle profit margins through hardware and software bundling.
The Mona M03 is currently the lowest-priced model in Xpeng's product matrix and serves as the company's primary sales driver.
To further boost overall sales and expand market share, Xpeng is preparing to launch the first SUV model under the Mona lineup.
The all-new compact SUV, named L03, appeared in a Chinese regulatory filing catalog last week and is expected to be officially unveiled and launched later this year.
The Mona L03 is expected to continue the low-pricing strategy of the M03 sedan, which costs about half as much as a similarly sized Tesla Model 3.
Xpeng's chairman and CEO, He Xiaopeng, has signaled broader strategic ambitions, planning to introduce various Mona products to Europe and other global markets in 2026.
