General Motors' Buick brand began pre-sales for its Electra E7 in China on Friday, as it continues to advance its electrification transition.
The mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV is priced between 160,000 yuan ($23,410) and 210,000 yuan during the pre-sales period.
The new vehicle comes in three trim levels and is scheduled to officially launch and begin deliveries on April 22.
Users who place online orders before April 21 can enjoy early-bird benefits totaling 10,000 yuan, according to the company.
The Electra E7 is equipped with the Zhenlong plug-in hybrid system and a 32.6-kWh battery pack, delivering a pure electric range of 235 kilometers under CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) conditions.

The Electra E7 features a roof-mounted LiDAR and is equipped with an assisted driving system based on Chinese startup Momenta.

The cabin focuses on a premium and comfortable experience, featuring a zero-gravity front passenger recliner, a hot-and-cold preservation box, and a Dolby Atmos surround sound system.
The new car is equipped with Chinese tech giant ByteDance's latest generation Doubao AI model, providing users with a voice interaction experience featuring human-like emotion and highly natural dialogue.
