- Nio will reveal the pre-sales price and technical details of its largest SUV later today.
- The Nio ES9 is expected to be displayed at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show starting later this month.

The first batch of Nio Inc's ES9 display cars has arrived at stores across China, with the official debut of the technology-focused flagship large SUV now just hours away.
The technology launch event is scheduled to begin at 7 pm Beijing time on April 9, aiming to build market momentum ahead of the Beijing Auto Show that opens on April 24.
Nio will officially announce the pre-sales price and detailed technical specifications of the ES9 during Thursday evening's event to attract more potential consumers.
Nio's current top-end model is the ET9 executive sedan, which starts at 768,000 yuan ($112,390), providing a pricing benchmark for the ES9.
The official market launch of the full-size electric SUV is expected in late May, with the first customer deliveries slated to begin on June 1.
The ES9 measures 5,365 millimeters in length with a wheelbase of 3,250 mm, surpassing the dimensions of the third-generation ES8, according to previous regulatory filings.
The Nio ES9 adopts the brand's latest family design language, featuring a Shark Nose front fascia that highlights a stronger premium feel.
The ES9 is expected to be equipped with Nio's latest generation of core research and development achievements, including the in-house developed Shenji NX9031 driver-assistance chip and the SkyRide chassis system.
The new vehicle also features a 15.6-inch AMOLED floating center console screen and a built-in SkyOS vehicle operating system.
The flagship SUV is powered by a front and rear dual-motor system, delivering a combined maximum output of 520 kilowatts and a comprehensive torque of 700 Nm.
The new car is fitted with a 102-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack from CATL, which can provide the large EV with a pure electric range of up to 620 kilometers.
Nio released a winter testing video of the ES9 last month, showcasing the model's handling and agility in extreme cold environments down to minus 30 degrees Celsius.
The short video showed the ES9 successfully passing a tire blowout test conducted at a high speed of 150 kilometers per hour.
In addition, the test video demonstrated a comparison between the ES9 and the smaller Firefly EV navigating narrow roads. This suggests that the large SUV will possess a turning radius and agility comparable to a compact car.
