- The A7 EV measures 4,935 mm in length, and offers up to 550 km of battery range.
- Expected to launch later this month, the model will help Geely improve its BEV sales performance.

Geely Auto sub-brand Geely Galaxy has teased the pure electric A7 EV sedan, supplementing the A7 series to expand its battery electric vehicle (BEV) lineup.
The brand released official images of the A7 EV on Tuesday, stating that the model's design will set a new benchmark for mid-size pure electric family sedans.
The sedan measures 4,935 millimeters in length, 1,905 mm in width, and 1,500 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,845 mm, according to previous regulatory filings.
These dimensions make it longer and taller than the hybrid version of the A7 launched in August 2025, while maintaining the same wheelbase.
The new battery electric vehicle (BEV) model will deliver a pure electric range of over 550 kilometers under the CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle), with power consumption of 11.4 kWh per 100 kilometers.
The vehicle is built on what Geely calls the GEA (Global Intelligent New Energy Architecture) and is equipped with the Golden Battery.
Geely Galaxy said the battery can be quickly recharged within 20 minutes.
The A7 EV is also equipped with the new-generation Flyme Auto 2 intelligent control system, featuring a 14.6-inch high-definition screen.
The model, expected to officially launch later this month, is part of Geely Galaxy's efforts to counter slowing sales growth.
Geely Auto's overall BEV sales in March stood at 70,557 units, down about 18% year-on-year, according to data released earlier this month.
Meanwhile, sales of plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) models reached 56,762 units, surging 70% from a year earlier.
At the same time, Geely Galaxy sold 82,744 vehicles in March, representing a year-on-year decrease of 8.09%. This marks the third consecutive month of overall sales contraction for the sub-brand.
Last August, Geely Galaxy launched the hybrid version of the A7 with a highly competitive starting price of 89,800 yuan ($13,160), securing over 10,000 firm orders within a day of its market debut.
There is currently no pricing information for the A7 EV, though its starting price is expected to be close to that of the A7 PHEV, targeting the market segment around 100,000 yuan.
