- Nio maintained the starting prices of the 2026 ET5, ET5 Touring, ES6, and EC6, while launching higher-priced special editions for them.
- The roll-out of the updated "5566" lineup kicks off Nio's intensive product update cycle.

Nio Inc officially launched updated versions of its "5566" lineup on Thursday, in a bid to revive sales of its main brand's lower-priced models amid fierce market competition.
The 2026 editions of the ET5, ET5 Touring, ES6, and EC6 officially entered the Chinese EV market with unchanged starting prices.
Consumers can now start locking in orders for the four updated models, and Nio will hold an event hours later at 6 pm Beijing time to detail the vehicles further.
The starting prices for the 2026 ET5 and ET5 Touring remain at 298,000 yuan ($43,270), including the battery pack. Their starting prices under the BaaS (battery as a service) program are both 190,000 yuan.

The updated ES6 electric SUV starts at 338,000 yuan, while the EC6 starts at 358,000 yuan. Under the BaaS program, they start at 230,000 yuan and 250,000 yuan, respectively.
Nio's four updated models feature upgrades in exterior design, interior configurations, and smart assisted driving experiences.
The 2026 new cars are now equipped with new assisted driving indicator lights as a standard feature aimed at enhancing road safety.
The ES6 and EC6 models now offer a zero-gravity seat for the driver to enhance ride comfort during long-distance driving.
Nio also introduced special nature-themed editions for all four models, inspired by the Nio-initiated Clean Parks initiative. These higher-priced versions feature exclusive exterior kits and interior design languages.
The starting price for the ET5 and ET5 Touring nature-themed editions is set higher at 310,000 yuan, offering colors like Star Green.
The ES6 nature-themed edition starts at 350,000 yuan, while the EC6 special edition starts at 370,000 yuan.

Over the past few years, the "5566" lineup has been the main sales driver for the Chinese EV maker, as they are the lower-priced models of the Nio brand.
However, the third-generation ES8 large SUV unexpectedly became the brand's new sales pillar after its launch in September 2025.
The ES8 delivered 16,255 units in March, contributing to 45.81% of Nio Inc's March deliveries, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
The ES8 is expected to reach its 90,000th delivery milestone later this week.
Nio is preparing to hold a tech launch event for its all-new flagship ES9 SUV on April 9.
In addition, its family-oriented sub-brand Onvo will launch the L80 large SUV in May to further expand the company's overall EV product lineup.
