Xpeng delivered 27,415 vehicles in March, representing a 79.70% surge from February, according to data released Wednesday.
However, the figure still fell 17.44% compared to the same period last year, marking the third consecutive month of year-on-year declines.
The company delivered a total of 62,682 vehicles in the first quarter, down 33.32% year-on-year and 46.08% lower than the fourth quarter of last year.
This quarterly performance met Xpeng's previously set delivery guidance range of 61,000 to 66,000 vehicles.
To revive sales momentum, Xpeng plans to launch an updated version of the Mona M03 sedan on April 2. The current Mona M03 starts at 119,800 yuan ($17,430).
The updated Mona M03 will introduce powerful computing capabilities to the sub-$20,000 electric vehicle market for the first time. It will be equipped with Xpeng's self-developed Turing AI chip to enhance overall intelligence.
By bundling core hardware with software systems, Xpeng is attempting to achieve higher margins on its best-selling models and expand the use of its in-house chips. The company reported its first-ever quarterly net profit in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Cumulative shipments of Xpeng's Turing AI chips have exceeded 200,000 units, and the company expects its full-year shipment to reach about 1 million units this year.
Xpeng plans to launch four new models supporting advanced smart driving this year, including the flagship large six-seater SUV GX, which will officially go on sale in the second quarter.
The automaker is also accelerating its global footprint, officially entering the Mexican market in late March, when it released a three-year strategic expansion plan for the Latin American market.
Beyond its core automotive business, Xpeng is actively advancing the commercialization of humanoid robots. Its new-generation Iron robot is scheduled for mass production and delivery by the end of 2026.
