- The updated R7 and S7 feature upgraded autonomous driving technology, coming just seven months after their last refresh.
- Luxeed also announced that its flagship MPV, the V9, will arrive in showrooms in late April as the brand accelerates its product lineup expansion.

Huawei-backed electric vehicle (EV) brand Luxeed has launched updated versions of its R7 coupe SUV (sport utility vehicle) and S7 sedan, just seven months after the models' previous updates.
The updated R7 and S7 officially went on sale at Huawei's spring product launch event on Monday, an event that also introduced new models from brands including Aito, Stelato, and Shangjie.
The starting price of the updated Luxeed S7 is set at 239,800 yuan ($34,800), while the R7 starts at 259,800 yuan, both representing a 10,000 yuan increase from their predecessors.
Both updated models come standard with Huawei's latest-generation 896-channel image-grade LiDAR across all trims.
They are also equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS 4 assisted driving system, designed to provide drivers with a more advanced autonomous driving experience.
To further attract younger consumers, the two models have added new orange and purple exterior color options.
While focusing on these updated models, Huawei also reintroduced the Luxeed V9, the brand’s flagship MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) and the first MPV under the Huawei HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) umbrella, which made its debut in January.
The full-size MPV is powered by Huawei's Xuexiao smart extended-range system, enabling a maximum combined range of over 1,250 kilometers.
The Luxeed V9 features an active rear-wheel steering system and dual-chamber air suspension, aimed at enhancing the handling and ride comfort of the large vehicle.
He Gang, CEO of Huawei's consumer business group, announced at the event that Luxeed V9 display cars will arrive at stores nationwide in late April.
Luxeed is an EV brand jointly created by Huawei and Chery Automobile. The launch of these new models signals that it is accelerating its model iterations to remain competitive in China's crowded EV market.
The brand plans to consolidate its market foundation in 2026 and hopes to achieve an annual sales target of 1 million units by 2030, an executive said earlier this year.
Beyond the domestic Chinese market, Luxeed also plans to unveil a right-hand drive version of the V9 MPV in the second half of 2026, kicking off its international expansion.
