The next-generation Iron humanoid robot is scheduled to enter mass production by the end of 2026. Equipped with three Turing AI chips, its effective computing power far exceeds that of other robots in the industry.

Xpeng robots are primarily designed for three key scenarios: commercial, industrial, and homes. Iron will initially support commercial scenarios such as service, wayfinding, and sales assistance at Xpeng’s stores and campuses in China and overseas.

Xpeng's technological approach focuses on the robot's “brain” (autonomous thinking and decision-making) and “cerebellum” (motion control), as well as the accumulation of data for embodied intelligence models.

Leveraging Iron’s advanced intelligence and Xpeng’s strengths in mass production and supply chain management, Xpeng has the potential to become one of the world’s largest and most valuable humanoid robotics companies.

Xpeng believes that over the next 5 to 10 years, the market potential for physical AI will be even greater than that of the automotive industry.

Xpeng believes that the global markets for robotaxis and humanoid robots will each reach a scale of trillions of yuan.

The company will continue to increase its investment in AI-related R&D, with this year’s investment in physical AI-related R&D expected to rise to 7 billion yuan.

Xpeng’s Turing AI chips have surpassed 200,000 units in cumulative shipments, with a target of approximately 1 million units for the full year of 2026.

Xpeng expects that starting in the second quarter of this year, its entire lineup — including the Max variants — will complete the transition to its in-house-developed Turing chips.

Xpeng welcomes automakers, embodied AI companies, and Tier 1 suppliers to utilize its Turing chips, as well as its intelligent and comprehensive solutions.

Xpeng will launch four new models this year, all of which will support upgrades to Level 2+ to Level 4 autonomous driving capabilities.

2026 will be a pivotal year for expanding Xpeng's product lineup and enhancing product capabilities, with the GX SUV set to officially launch in the second quarter.

Xpeng’s 732 stores across China have fully rolled out test drives for the second-generation VLA, with the average daily number of test drives in March doubling month-on-month.

As new models are delivered, the company is confident that it will achieve a significant quarter-on-quarter increase in sales.

Xpeng recorded its first-ever net profit of 380 million yuan ($50 million) in the fourth quarter of 2025.
