The move follows its parent company Dongfeng's decision announced in August 2025 to privatize and delist, as Dongfeng had not conducted any equity refinancing since its listing and had largely lost the financing function of the listed entity.

Voyah demonstrated strong financial growth and sales performance ahead of its stock market debut. The company turned a profit in 2025, with its net income reaching 1.02 billion yuan ($148 million).

The brand's revenue climbed from 12.75 billion yuan in 2023 to 34.86 billion yuan in 2025, and its vehicle sales grew from 50,285 units to 150,169 units.

These robust sales figures represent a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of up to 73%, while the EV maker's gross margin stabilized at a high industry level of 20.9%.

Voyah is a brand unveiled by Dongfeng at the end of 2020 and officially established in 2021. Its products mainly cover the price range of 200,000 yuan to 500,000 yuan.

Alongside the listing bell-ringing ceremony, Voyah unveiled its new Taishan X8 model, which is positioned as a "courtyard-level" large five-seater SUV.

The new vehicle is equipped with four LiDARs and debuts Huawei's new-generation interactive cabin. It features Huawei's latest ADS Ultra intelligent advanced driving assistance system.

It offers dual-version choices of plug-in hybrid and pure electric with the plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T engine, as well as an 800V high-voltage platform.

CATL will prioritize supplying Voyah with cutting-edge battery technologies and deploy production capacity near the EV maker's manufacturing facilities.
