Lotus Technology, the luxury electric vehicle company majority-owned by Geely Holding, officially started pre-sales for its new hybrid SUV model, the Lotus For Me, in the Chinese market on Tuesday to target the family car market.
The new model comes in two variants, with pre-sales prices set at 528,000 yuan ($76,780) and 588,000 yuan, respectively.

The vehicle is Lotus's first hybrid model, built on the 900V X-Hybrid architecture, and is known as the Eletre X in overseas markets.
The "For Me" name reflects a philosophy of self-care — honoring the version of yourself that once chased freedom while providing safety and luxury for those around you, Lotus CEO Feng Qingfeng said at the launch event.
It is equipped with a 70 kWh high-capacity battery pack from CATL, delivering a CLTC pure electric range of 420 kilometers.
The model supports 6C fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just eight minutes.
With a full tank and a fully charged battery, the For Me has a combined cruising range of over 1,400 kilometers.
The For Me boasts strong performance, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. Even in battery-depleted mode, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, Lotus said.
The model is built on the Geely Afari Smart Driving (G-ASD) H7 architecture and comes standard with the Nvidia Thor computing chip, enabling both highway and urban Navigation on Autopilot (NOA) functionalities.
The For Me is designed for those who have embraced family life, allowing drivers to care for their families without giving up the joy of driving, Feng said at the event.
