Huawei's HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) business maintained robust growth momentum in February, delivering 28,212 vehicles that month, according to data released Monday.

This represents a 31.11% increase year-on-year, though down 51.29% from January's 57,915 units.

This latest delivery figure brings the business's cumulative historical deliveries to over 1.28 million units, demonstrating its sustained appeal in the Chinese market.

The Spring Festival holiday in mid-to-late February generally had a negative impact on production and deliveries across China's automotive industry. The 2026 holiday fell between February 15 and 23, whereas last year's holiday was primarily in January.

From January to February this year, HIMA delivered 86,127 vehicles, marking a 52.43% year-on-year increase.

As HIMA's flagship premium brand, Aito achieved cumulative deliveries exceeding 58,000 units in the first two months of the year, with about 18,000 units delivered in February alone.

HIMA currently operates five brands: BAIC Group's Stelato, Seres Group's AITO, Chery's Luxeed, Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group (JAC)'s Maextro, and SAIC Motor's Shangjie.

On October 28 last year, HIMA announced that cumulative deliveries of models under the alliance had reached the milestone of 1 million units, achieved just 43 months after the first vehicle was delivered.

Aito is the first brand launched under Huawei's HIMA business, debuting on December 2, 2021, and stands as one of the premium automotive brands under this umbrella.

Aito focuses on the SUV (sport utility vehicle) market, with currently available models including the Aito M5, Aito M7, Aito M8, and Aito M9.

The Aito M6 will offer both BEV and EREV options, with the BEV version featuring a 100-kWh battery pack.
