- Li Auto delivered 26,421 vehicles in February, marking a 0.6% year-on-year increase despite the impact of the Spring Festival holiday.
- Previously, Li Auto had experienced eight consecutive months of year-on-year declines in deliveries.
Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI, HKG: 2015) delivered nearly the same number of vehicles in February as it did a year earlier, ending nearly a year of year-on-year declines and signaling an improvement in its situation.
Data released by the company on Sunday showed it delivered 26,421 new vehicles in February. Affected by the Spring Festival holiday in the latter half of February, this figure represents a 4.5% month-on-month decline but a slight 0.6% year-on-year increase.
Notably, Li Auto ended eight consecutive months of year-on-year delivery declines, signaling improved sales momentum.
The 2026 Spring Festival holiday fell between February 15 and 23, negatively impacting industrial production and deliveries, whereas last year's holiday primarily occurred in January.
By the end of February, the company's cumulative historical deliveries reached 1,594,304 units.
Li Auto is currently navigating a critical strategic adjustment phase, facing significant setbacks in its battery electric vehicle (BEV) transition.
The company will release its fourth-quarter and full-year financial results on March 12. Market attention is focused on whether it can overcome nine consecutive months of weak sales and third-quarter losses.
Li Auto's extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) models, the foundation of its business, face intense competition. Rivals are narrowing the experience gap with pure electric vehicles by aggressively equipping larger battery packs.
Meanwhile, the highly anticipated i-series battery electric vehicle (BEV) models have recently shown weak performance. Due to constrained production capacity for core components, Li Auto was forced to delay deliveries of some Li i6 models in January.
Facing market share erosion, Li Auto will launch the updated Li L9 flagship SUV in the second quarter. Its ultimate version, the L9 Livis, will also debut, aiming to reclaim dominance in the EREV segment.
Li Auto said today that the new model's mission is to pioneer the flagship SUV for the era of embodied intelligence. The company envisions the vehicle proactively learning human rules to become intelligent service partners.
Regarding infrastructure, Li Auto currently operates 4,054 supercharging stations. These facilities provided over 1.45 million charging sessions during the congested Spring Festival travel period.
