- Leapmotor is set to begin pre-sales for its all-new compact pure-electric SUV, the A10.
Affected by the week-long Chinese New Year holiday in mid-February, Leapmotor (HKG: 9863) saw month-on-month decline in vehicle deliveries, but the company is preparing to launch a new model to boost sales.
The Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) maker backed by European auto giant Stellantis announced Sunday that it delivered 28,067 vehicles in February, a 10.99% year-on-year increase.
Although this figure represents a 12.45% decrease from January's 32,059 units, the performance remains solid considering the impact of the nine-day Spring Festival holiday on industrial production. Last year's Spring Festival holiday primarily fell in late January.
Since its inception, Leapmotor has cumulatively delivered 1,256,229 vehicles, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
To further stimulate market demand, Leapmotor announced today that its all-new compact pure-electric SUV model, the A10, will soon begin pre-sales.

The new model, named B03X for overseas markets, is built on Leapmotor's latest A platform and represents the company's first strategic product targeting the global market.
Leapmotor has not yet disclosed pre-sales pricing or the launch timeline for the new model.
Previously disclosed information indicated the top-spec version is expected to be priced below yuan 100,000 ($14,580) in China, with deliveries commencing in the first half of this year.
The five-seat compact electric SUV is the inaugural model in Leapmotor's A series. According to previously published filing information, its dimensions measure 4,270 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,605 mm.
Leapmotor's current lineup in China includes the T03, B10, B01, C01, C10, C11, and C16. The T03, B01, and B10 are available only as battery electric vehicles (BEVs), while other models also offer extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variants.
The company's founder, chairman, and CEO Zhu Jiangming said in October 2025 that two A-series products would launch in 2026.
