Xiaomi EV has achieved the milestone of delivering its 600,000th vehicle, 22 months after its first vehicle delivery on April 3, 2024.
The Xiaomi (HKG: 1810, OTCMKTS: XIACY) electric vehicle (EV) unit announced this milestone on Weibo on Friday, marking a significant achievement for this young EV player.
Xiaomi officially announced its entry into the automotive manufacturing sector on March 30, 2021, joining the ranks of new EV manufacturers relatively late.
It formally launched its first model, the SU7, on March 28, 2024. The electric sedan competes with Tesla's (NASDAQ: TSLA) Model 3.
On February 27, 2025, Xiaomi officially launched the SU7 Ultra, a higher-performance electric sedan based on the SU7.
On June 26, 2025, Xiaomi launched the YU7 SUV (sport utility vehicle), a competitor to the Tesla Model Y.
Xiaomi EV delivered 139,471 vehicles in 2024 and 411,837 vehicles in 2025.
The SU7 was initially the primary delivery model, but the YU7 became the new best-selling model as production capacity ramped up.
The SU7 delivered 258,164 units in 2025, while the YU7 delivered 153,673 units, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

Xiaomi EV is updating the SU7, with its first-generation ceasing production earlier this week. Pre-orders for the updated SU7 began January 7, with official launch scheduled for April.
