- The Aito M6 is expected to target the family SUV market priced around RMB 250,000.
- The M6 will become Aito's newest product following the M5, M7, M8, and M9.

Aito, the automotive brand jointly developed by Huawei and Seres Group (HKG: 9927), is set to unveil its new M6 SUV (sport utility vehicle), further expanding its product lineup.
"Aito M6 is coming soon … See you this spring," Richard Yu, Huawei's executive director and chairman of the consumer business group, wrote on Weibo on Monday.
Aito's current lineup includes the M5, M7, M8, and M9 — all SUV models offering both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) options.
Judging by its name, the Aito M6 is expected to be priced below the M7's starting point of RMB 299,800 ($43,120) but above the M5's RMB 229,800.
Earlier this month, images circulating on Chinese social media showed the Aito M6 undergoing winter testing.
The model's exterior design follows Aito's family styling, with its front fascia resembling that of the Aito M5.
Last October, local media outlet LatePost reported that Aito planned to launch the M6 in the second quarter of 2026, targeting the RMB 250,000-level family SUV market.
The new model will offer both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) versions, aligning with Aito's strategy for other models, according to the report.
The M6 will not replace the M5, which will continue to undergo updates, LatePost cited a source close to Seres as saying.
Aito, the first brand under Huawei's HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) business, has seen robust growth over the past few years.
On January 13, the brand celebrated the milestone of its 1-millionth vehicle rolling off the production line.
