Voyah's premium Taishan SUV reaches 5,000 deliveries in 26 days

Voyah, the premium electric vehicle (EV) brand under Dongfeng Motor (HKG: 0489), has delivered its 5,000th Taishan SUV (sport utility vehicle).

Voyah announced this milestone on Weibo yesterday, noting it achieved this in just 26 days since deliveries commenced on December 4.

The Voyah Taishan measures 5,230 mm in length, 2,025 mm in width, and 1,817 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,120 mm and a curb weight of about 2.8 tons.

Built on the Huawei 800V high-voltage platform, the hybrid SUV features the Huawei Qiankun ADS 4 smart driving system and the HarmonySpace 5 cockpit system.

Powered by a 1.5L turbocharged engine paired with dual electric motors, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in as little as 5.2 seconds.

The Voyah Taishan comes standard with a 65-kWh ternary lithium battery pack, delivering a CLTC range of 350 kilometers. With a full tank of fuel and fully charged battery, its CLTC range extends to 1,430 kilometers.

Voyah plans to launch a limited-edition Black Knight version of the Taishan in the first quarter 2026, starting at a higher price point of RMB 509,900.

Shortly after the Taishan's launch, Voyah announced on Weibo that the model secured over 10,000 firm orders within its first 21 minutes.

Beyond the Taishan, Voyah's current lineup includes the mid-to-large sedans Zhuiguang and Zhuiguang L, the mid-size SUV Zhiyin, the mid-to-large SUV Free, and the MPV Dream.

Voyah delivered a record 20,005 vehicles in November, marking its first monthly delivery exceeding 20,000 units, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

From January to November, Voyah delivered 134,215 vehicles, marking an 82.45 percent year-on-year increase.

Voyah aimed to sell 200,000 vehicles by 2025, CEO Lu Fang said in an internal letter last year.

The Voyah Passion L targets the luxury sedan market, competing against the BMW 5 Series, Audi A6L, and Mercedes-Benz E-Class in China.
