SAIC-GM-Wuling is collaborating with Huawei to develop a vehicle model, aiming to leverage the tech giant's capabilities to enter higher-end markets.
The company will launch its first jointly developed model, the Huajing S, in the first half of 2026, SAIC-GM-Wuling announced today.
The Huajing S will be a flagship large six-seat SUV (sport utility vehicle) equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS 4 Pro smart driving system and HarmonySpace cockpit.
SAIC-GM-Wuling's Baojun brand announced today on Weibo that Huajing now has dedicated pages on the Huawei Qiankun App.

The Huajing S will be built on SAIC-GM-Wuling's Tianyu L architecture, a platform unveiled in April 2024 capable of supporting models ranging from A00-class micro vehicles to C-class mid-to-large-size vehicles.
The model entered China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology regulatory filing catalog in September, revealing dimensions of 5,235 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,105 mm.
The Huajing S listed in the catalog is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) equipped with either a 31-kWh or 41.9-kWh battery pack, delivering a WLTC-rated battery range of up to 175 kilometers.

Over the past few years, Huawei's primary collaboration pattern with domestic automakers has been establishing new brands under the HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) initiative.
To date, five brands operate under the HIMA umbrella: Seres Group's Aito, Chery (HKG: 9973)'s Luxeed, BAIC Group's Stelato, Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group (JAC)'s Maextro, and SAIC Motor's Shangjie.
On September 19, GAC Group officially launched Qijing, a new brand jointly developed with Huawei, marking a new collaboration model between the tech giant and a domestic automaker.
On November 20, Dongfeng Motor (HKG: 0489, OTCMKTS: DNFGF) announced at Huawei's Qiankun ecosystem conference that their jointly developed new automotive brand would be named Yijing. Its first model is scheduled to debut at the Beijing auto show in April 2026.
Earlier this month, a domestic media outlet reported that Yijing would launch its first model in the third quarter of next year.
