Geely Auto's (HKG: 0175) Xingyuan EV has reached its 500,000th delivery milestone, marking a significant achievement for the hot-selling model in China.
The automaker's sub-brand Geely Galaxy announced this milestone today, noting the Xingyuan EV has surpassed 40,000 units in monthly sales for six consecutive months.
From January to November, the Xingyuan EV recorded retail sales of 429,628 units in China -- the highest among all models -- according to data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) cited by Geely Galaxy.

Globally, the Xingyuan EV also ranks among the best-selling battery electric vehicles (BEVs).
Tesla Model Y, Xingyuan EV, and Tesla Model 3 were the world's top-selling EV models in the third quarter, market research firm Counterpoint Research said in a December 7 report.
The report did not disclose sales figures for these three models in the third quarter. Xingyuan EV retail sales came in at 138,411 units in the third quarter, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
Xingyuan was initially launched on October 9, 2024, with a starting price of RMB 69,800 at that time, primarily competing against BYD's (HKG: 1211, OTCMKTS: BYDDY) Seagull and Dolphin models.
The Xingyuan EV's pricing places it in the same range as BYD's Seagull, while its dimensions and range are comparable to BYD's higher-priced Dolphin.
On October 10 this year, Geely launched the 2026 Xingyuan EV with a limited-time starting price of RMB 65,800 ($9,360).
The 2026 Xingyuan measures 4,135 mm in length, 1,805 mm in width, and 1,570 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. It features a rear-mounted single motor delivering either 58 kW (78 hp) or 85 kW of power.
It comes standard with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries from CATL (HKG: 3750), offering capacities of 30.12 kWh or 40.16 kWh, providing ranges of 310 km or 410 km.
