Measuring 5125 mm in length, the Passion L boasts a CLTC range of up to 1400 kilometers, with a starting price of RMB 279,900 ($39,630).
The mid-to-large hybrid sedan targets the luxury sedan segment, competing against the BMW 5 Series, Audi A6L, and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. It serves as Voyah's new flagship model following the Taishan SUV (sport utility vehicle).
The Passion L is Voyah's second sedan model following the Passion, featuring larger dimensions of 5,125 mm in length, 1,985 mm in width, and 1,522 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,010 mm.
The Passion plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) measures 5,088 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,515 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.
Built on an 800-volt high-voltage architecture, the Passion L features a 63-kWh ternary lithium battery pack.
This makes it one of the PHEVs with the largest battery capacity in the Chinese market, offering a CLTC battery range of 410 kilometers.
The Passion L supports 5C fast charging, enabling a charge from 20 percent to 80 percent in 12 minutes.
It comes standard with an all-wheel-drive powertrain combining a 1.5T engine and dual electric motors, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
The Passion L integrates Huawei's Qiankun ADS 4 smart driving system and HarmonySpace 5.1 cockpit system.
Its primary domestic competitor is the Stelato S9, a model developed by Huawei and Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC Group) featuring the same smart driving and cockpit systems.
The updated Stelato S9, launched on November 20, starts at RMB 309,800, unchanged from its predecessor.
Voyah delivered 20,005 vehicles in November, surpassing 20,000 units for the first time and setting a new monthly record for the fourth consecutive month, according to data released by the company on December 1.
