Cadillac, General Motors' premium brand, has filed for the Vistiq in China, indicating that this electric SUV (sport utility vehicle) already available in the US will commence production in China.
China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) today released its latest catalog of vehicle models pending approval for sale, seeking public feedback. The Cadillac Vistiq is included in the list.
Public comments may be submitted between December 6 and 12. Inclusion in this catalog represents the final major regulatory step before a vehicle model can be permitted for sale in China.
The Cadillac Vistiq has two pages in the catalog, one with single-motor and another with dual motors.
The vehicle measures 5,222 mm in length, 2,026 mm in width, and 1,795/1,799/1,803 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,094 mm.
Its curb weight is 2,740/2,850/2,860 kilograms, with a maximum supported speed of 190 kilometers per hour.
The single-motor variant features a motor with a peak power output of 255 kW, while the dual-motor version incorporates a front motor delivering 183 kW and a rear motor producing 260 kW.
The Cadillac Vistiq utilizes ternary lithium batteries supplied by CATL (HKG: 3750, SHE: 300750).
In the US market, the currently available 2026 Cadillac Vistiq models start at a price range of $79,090 to $98,190.
In China, Cadillac's currently available pure-electric models include the Lyriq and Optiq.
