The Qin and Seal families continue to be the top two lineups for BYD (HKG: 1211, OTCMKTS: BYDDY) as the new energy vehicle (NEV) maker hit its highest monthly sales of this year in November.

The Qin family sold 70,824 units in November, remaining BYD's top-selling lineup, according to data released today.

However, this represents an 18.64 percent year-on-year decline and a 0.6 percent decrease from October.

The Seal family sold 60,962 units in November, ranking as BYD's second-highest selling lineup. This represents a 7.76 percent year-on-year increase and a 5.02 percent rise from October.

The Song family sold 56,011 units in November, making it BYD's third-highest selling lineup. This marks a 52.83 percent year-on-year decline but a 9.43 percent increase from October.

The Song family includes the Dynasty series models Song L EV, Song L DM-i, Song Pro DM-i, and the Ocean series models Song Plus EV, Song Plus DM-i.

BYD's Dynasty series Song models sold 33,926 units in November, down 46.69 percent year-on-year but up 19.67 percent month-on-month.

Sales of the Ocean series Song models reached 22,085 units in November, down 59.92 percent year-on-year but up 3.29 percent month-on-month.

BYD is discontinuing the Song Plus, with the SUV to be replaced by the Sealion 06.

The BYD Sealion family sold 54,955 units in November, a 276.20 percent year-on-year increase and a 1.79 percent rise from October.

The Sealion family ranked as BYD's third-highest selling model in October. In September, the Sealion family surpassed the Seal family for the first time to become BYD's second-highest selling model.

The BYD Seagull sold 50,106 units in November, down 11.25 percent year-on-year but up 36.89 percent month-on-month.

The BYD Yuan family sold 47,835 units in November, down 15.44 percent year-on-year and down 2.18 percent month-on-month.

The BYD Dolphin sold 30,971 units in November, a 42.64 percent increase year-on-year and a 15.71 percent increase month-on-month.

BYD's passenger vehicle brands, including the Dynasty and Ocean series, collectively sold 417,769 units in November. This represents a 13.51 percent year-on-year decrease but a 7.85 percent increase compared to October.

The Dynasty series sold 184,338 units in November, down 27.19 percent year-on-year but up 3.18 percent month-on-month.

The Ocean series sold 233,431 units in November, a 1.57 percent increase year-on-year and an 11.85 percent increase compared to October.

BYD's premium Denza brand sold 13,255 units in November, a 32.52 percent increase year-on-year and a 30.78 percent increase compared to October.

Denza's November sales comprised 5,707 units of the D9 MPV, 1,580 units of the N9 SUV, 5,443 units of the N8L SUV, 434 units of the Z9 series, and 91 units of the N7 SUV.

BYD's personalized sub-brand Fang Cheng Bao achieved record sales of 37,405 units in November, up 338.97 percent year-on-year and up 20.46 percent month-on-month.

This comprised 6,054 Tai 3 units, 24,019 Tai 7 units, 5,569 Bao 5 units, and 1,763 Bao 8 units.

BYD's ultra-luxury sub-brand Yangwang sold 703 vehicles in November, marking a 132.78 percent year-on-year increase and a 7.49 percent rise from October.

The Yangwang U8 series -- including the U8 and U8L -- sold 526 units in November, while the U9 electric supercar sold 1 unit and the U7 sedan sold 176 units.
