Leapmotor (HKG: 9863) has set another monthly delivery record as its strong momentum continues.
The Stellantis NV (NYSE: STLA)-backed Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) maker delivered 70,327 vehicles in November, marking its seventh consecutive month of record-breaking performance, according to data released today.
This represents a 75.08 percent increase from 40,169 units delivered in the same month last year and a 0.05 percent rise from October's 70,289 units.
From January to November, Leapmotor delivered 536,132 vehicles, marking a 113.42 percent year-on-year increase.
Leapmotor will hold an event on December 28 to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Specific details have yet to be announced.
The company announced on November 15 that its annual deliveries had surpassed 500,000 units, achieving its 2025 target before an upward revision.
Leapmotor's initial 2025 sales target was 500,000 to 600,000 units. On August 18, during its first-half 2025 earnings call, the company said it raised its full-year 2025 sales target to 580,000 to 650,000 units due to robust sales performance.
Its management had said that Leapmotor would challenge an annual sales volume of one million units in 2026.
The company's robust growth momentum stems from its new product cycle, with the latest model being the Lafa 5 electric hatchback launched on November 27.
The Lafa 5 carries a competitive starting price of RMB 92,800 ($13,120) and will compete in China against models including the Volkswagen ID.3, SAIC MG4, BYD (HKG: 1211) Dolphin, and Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) Firefly EV.
The company debuted the A10 compact electric SUV with a 500-km range on the opening day of the 2025 Guangzhou auto show on November 21, with pricing expected to be below RMB 100,000.
On October 16, Leapmotor unveiled its flagship SUV D19, with the extended-range version featuring the largest 80-kWh battery pack to date.
Leapmotor's current lineup in China includes the T03, B10, B01, C01, C10, C11, C16, and Lafa 5. The T03, B01, and B10 are available only as battery electric vehicles (BEVs), while other models also offer extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variants.
