Geely Auto (HKG: 0175) achieved another record sales high last month as its sub-brand Geely Galaxy maintained robust performance.
The automaker sold 310,428 vehicles in November, marking its third consecutive month of record sales, according to data released today.
This represents a 24.10 percent year-on-year increase and a 1.07 percent rise from October.
Geely sold a record 102,602 battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in November, up 12.34 percent year-on-year and up 4.33 percent month-on-month.
Its plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) sales reached a record 85,196 units in November, surging 173.77 percent year-on-year and climbing 7.12 percent from October.
This robust growth was primarily driven by Geely Galaxy, which sold 132,652 units in November -- marking its fourth consecutive month of record sales. This represents a 76.33 percent year-on-year increase and a 4.06 percent rise from October.
From January to November, Geely Galaxy sold 1,135,113 vehicles, a 167.09 percent year-on-year increase.
Geely sold 2,787,750 vehicles from January to November, marking a 41.76 percent year-on-year increase.
Geely Galaxy was originally launched as a new product lineup on February 23, 2023. On March 3 this year, Geely announced the upgrade of Geely Galaxy to a new brand.
Starting October 2024, sales of the Geometry lineup were consolidated under Geely Galaxy, followed by the integration of LEVC as its premium MPV series.
Including Geely Galaxy, the Geely brand recorded November sales of 246,526 units, up 29.45 percent year-on-year and up 0.42 percent month-on-month.
The Zeekr brand delivered a record 28,843 vehicles in November, up 6.78 percent year-on-year and up 34.64 percent month-on-month.
Lynk & Co delivered 35,059 vehicles in November, representing a 7.28 percent increase year-on-year but a 12.82 percent decrease month-on-month.
Geely Auto exported 42,091 vehicles in November, up 28.27 percent year-on-year and up 1.26 percent month-on-month.
Its domestic sales in China reached 268,337 units in November, a 23.47 percent increase year-on-year and 1.04 percent growth month-on-month.
