- Xpeng saw its one-millionth vehicle roll off the production line, 14 months after the 500,000th unit.
- Xpeng's cumulative deliveries reached 945,588 vehicles by the end of October.

Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV, HKG: 9868) has achieved production of its one millionth vehicle, marking a milestone for the young Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker.
The company's chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng announced today at the opening day of the 2025 Guangzhou auto show that the one-millionth Xpeng vehicle rolled off the production line, 14 months after the 500,000th unit.
It took Xpeng 82 months to reach the 500,000th vehicle milestone from its first production car, Mr. He said.
The delivery of Xpeng's one-millionth vehicle -- an extended-range X9 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) -- is expected to take several more days, considering factors including logistics.
As of the end of October, Xpeng's cumulative deliveries reached 945,588 vehicles, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
The company delivered 42,013 vehicles in October, marking its fourth consecutive month of record-breaking performance.
This represents a 75.66 percent increase from the 23,917 units delivered in the same month last year and a 1.04 percent rise from September's 41,581 deliveries.
From January to October, Xpeng delivered 355,209 vehicles, reflecting a 190.02 percent year-on-year growth.
Yesterday, Xpeng launched the extended-range version of its X9 MPV, with a starting price of RMB 309,800 ($43,560) -- significantly lower than the pre-sales price and the X9 battery electric vehicle (BEV).
The extended-range X9 represents Xpeng's ambitions in the EREV market, aiming to significantly broaden its addressable market.
Xpeng management said during an earnings call on November 17 that the company aims to achieve breakeven in the fourth quarter.
The company reported a net loss of RMB 380 million for the third quarter, the lowest since the third quarter 2020.
