Voyah launches 4-seat version of Dream MPV starting at $99,810

Voyah, the premium electric vehicle (EV) unit of Dongfeng Motor (HKG: 0489, OTCMKTS: DNFGF), launched a special edition of its Dream MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) on the opening day of the 2025 Guangzhou auto show, aiming to capture a share of the ultra-luxury market.

The four-seat Dream MPV Shanhe Edition starts at RMB 709,900 ($99,810), more than double the RMB 329,900 starting price of the seven-seat 2026 Dream MPV currently on sale.

The Dream MPV Shanhe Edition measures 5,315 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,200 mm.

The regular Dream MPV stands 1,820 mm tall, with identical dimensions otherwise.

The special edition features a two-tone body design, upgraded wheels, and a more premium interior.

It is built on an 800V hybrid system with a 62.5-kWh battery pack, delivering a CLTC battery range of 320 kilometers. With a full tank and fully charged battery, its CLTC combined range reaches 1,405 kilometers.

The Dream MPV Shanhe Edition supports 5C fast charging, enabling a charge from 20 percent to 80 percent in just 12 minutes.

A key selling point is its integration of Huawei's HarmonySpace 5 cockpit system and the Ultra version of the Huawei Qiankun ADS 4 smart driving system.

Voyah is a brand launched by Dongfeng in late 2020, with its first model, the Voyah Free, officially launched in China in June 2021.

On May 7, 2022, the Dream MPV was launched in China as Voyah's second model. On September 20 last year, Voyah launched an updated Dream MPV featuring the newly introduced Huawei Qiankun ADS 3.0 system.

On September 15 this year, Voyah rolled out the 2026 model year Dream MPV, offering eight variants including five plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) versions and three battery electric vehicle (BEV) versions.

The PHEV variants start at RMB 329,900, while BEV variants begin at RMB 369,900.

The highest-priced PHEV variant and the highest-priced BEV variant of the 2026 Dream MPV both feature Huawei's HarmonySpace 5 and the Ultra version of the Qiankun ADS 4 smart driving system.

Voyah delivered a record 17,218 vehicles in October, marking a 69.52 percent increase from 10,157 units in the same period last year and a 13.10 percent rise from September's 15,224 units, according to data released on November 1.

The Voyah Taishan will compete in the large SUV segment against models including the Aito M9, Zeekr 9X, and Denza N9.
