Leapmotor (HKG: 9863) today released teaser images of its new A10 model, with the small SUV (sport utility vehicle) set to debut in one week.
The company's senior vice president Cao Li shared two images on Weibo today, offering the first glimpse of the A10 and revealing a LiDAR sensor mounted on its roof.
The A10 will debut at the upcoming Guangzhou auto show, Cao said, reiterating plans Leapmotor mentioned earlier this month.
Leapmotor indicated on November 1 that it would unveil the A10 -- the first model in its A series -- at the 2025 Guangzhou auto show.
The 2025 Guangzhou auto show will run from November 21-30 at the Canton Fair Complex, with November 21 designated as media day.
The company provided no further details about the A10, which is expected to compete in the compact electric SUV segment against models like BYD (OTCMKTS: BYDDY) Yuan Up.
The BYD Yuan Up measures 4,310 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, and 1,675 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,620 mm. It ranks among China's most affordable electric SUVs, currently starting at RMB 74,800 (about $10,540).
Leapmotor's current lineup in China includes the T03, B10, B01, C01, C10, C11, and C16. The T03, B01, and B10 are available only as battery electric vehicles (BEVs), while the other models additionally offer extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variants.
Leapmotor founder, chairman, and CEO Zhu Jiangming mentioned during an October media briefing that the company would launch two A-series products in 2026.
Leapmotor would experience a new product super-cycle in 2026, with 2-3 D-series models joining the existing B-series, Lafa 5, and C-series offerings, Zhu said at the time.
The D19 large SUV, the first of the new D-series models, debuted in China on October 16 and is expected to begin deliveries in the first half of 2026.
Leapmotor delivered 70,289 vehicles in October, marking its sixth consecutive month of record-high deliveries.
From January to October, Leapmotor delivered 465,805 vehicles, representing a 120.72 percent year-on-year increase.
