GAC Aion today commenced pre-sales of its new i60 model, marking the first vehicle from GAC Group's electric vehicle subsidiary to offer both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) configurations.
The Aion i60 BEV starts at RMB 119,800 ($16,820) in pre-sales, while the EREV variant begins at RMB 126,800.
The model is a five-seat SUV measuring 4,685 mm in length, 1,854 mm in width, and 1,660 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm.
The EREV variant boasts a CLTC range of 210 kilometers and a combined range of 1,240 kilometers when fully fueled and charged.

GAC Aion's Thailand plant has an annual capacity of 50,000 units in the first phase and will be expanded to 100,000 units in the future.
