- The Aion i60 measures 4,685 mm in length and will be available in both EREV and BEV versions, according to a previous regulatory filing.
- Hyptec, a sub-brand of GAC Aion, launched the EREV version of the Hyptec HL in August.

GAC Group's electric vehicle subsidiary GAC Aion will commence pre-sales for its new i60 model on November 3, calling it its first extended-range electric vehicle (EREV).
The brand announced this date today on Weibo, releasing several official images.
The Aion i60 is a five-seat SUV measuring 4,685 mm in length, 1,854 mm in width, and 1,660 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm, according to its regulatory filing.
The SUV will be available in both EREV and battery electric vehicle (BEV) variants. The EREV version features a 74-kW range extender, while the BEV version is equipped with an electric motor delivering either 150 kW or 165 kW maximum power.
Notably, although GAC Aion said the i60 as its first EREV model, its sub-brand Hyptec launched the EREV version of the Hyptec HL in August.
The Hyptec HL EREV is the first model to adopt GAC's Xingyuan range-extending technology, featuring a standard CATL-supplied 60 kWh Freevoy Super Hybrid Battery based on nickel-cobalt-manganese chemistry, delivering a CLTC battery range of 350 kilometers.
It supports 800V 5C ultra-fast charging, adding 210 kilometers of range in just 10 minutes. With a full tank and fully charged battery, the Hyptec HL EREV achieves a CLTC combined range of 1,369 kilometers.
