- The Deepal L06 boasts a CLTC range of up to 670 km and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.9 seconds.
- The L06 features a magnetorheological suspension system, which Deepal says is typically reserved for supercars.

Deepal, the new energy vehicle (NEV) unit of Changan Automobile (SHE: 000625), today began pre-sales for its L06 midsize sedan following the model's September debut.
The L06 measures 4,830 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, and 1,480 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm.
Currently, only the battery electric vehicle (BEV) variants are available, despite extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) options being shown during its September 8 debut.
Four variants are offered during the pre-sales, priced starting at RMB 139,900 ($19,670), RMB 149,900, RMB 151,900, and RMB 161,900.
The L06 is a single-motor rear-wheel-drive model, featuring a motor with peak power of 200 kW (268 horsepower) and peak torque of 290 Nm, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.
It features lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries from CATL (HKG: 3750), with 56.12-kWh and 68.82-kWh options delivering CLTC ranges of 560 km or 670 km.
The model supports fast charging, enabling a 30 percent to 80 percent charge in 15 minutes.
The L06 features a magnetorheological suspension, which Deepal claims is typically reserved for supercars, offering full-scenario adaptive suspension firmness adjustment.
The magnetorheological suspension system utilizes a magnetic fluid that transforms into a semi-solid state under a magnetic field. Controlled by an electronic circuit, it enables adaptive system functionality.
The vehicle comes standard with LiDAR, supporting urban NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) functionality.
