From October 1 to 19, China's passenger NEV retail sales reached 632,000 units, up 5 percent year-on-year and up 2 percent month-on-month, according to data released today by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).
For reference, from October 1-12, China's passenger NEV retail sales totaled 367,000 units, down 1 percent year-on-year, primarily due to the impact of the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays.
Year-to-date, China's cumulative passenger NEV retail sales reached 9.5 million units, up 23 percent year-on-year.
Wholesale sales of China's passenger NEVs from October 1-19 totaled 676,000 units, a 6 percent increase year-on-year and a 5 percent rise month-on-month, according to the CPCA.
