Dongfeng has launched three models in Tunisia: the Shine, Shine Max HEV, and Box.
Dongfeng Motor (HKG: 0489) has officially entered the Tunisian market, recently launching three models locally, according to a company statement today.
The company rolled out the Shine, Shine Max HEV, and Box models at an event in Tunis, the capital of Tunisia.
Dongfeng Box secured about 40 firm orders and over 200 intent orders during the launch event, the company said.
Additionally, the first batch of 192 KD (Knocked Down) orders for Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor's Egypt project has completed container loading and is en route to the Egyptian factory.
This shipment is scheduled to arrive at Alexandria Port in Egypt in early November. Local production line construction in Egypt is planned to be completed by late November, with vehicle assembly commencing thereafter.
In 2026, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor will introduce gasoline, hybrid, and pure electric models to the Egyptian market.
