Year-to-date, Li Auto has delivered 297,149 vehicles, down 13.07 percent year-on-year.

As of the end of August, the company's cumulative deliveries since inception reached 1,431,021 units.

Li Auto's delivery performance has been weak this year, driven by declining sales of its flagship L-series extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs).

The company launched the six-seat Li i8, its first pure-electric SUV (sport utility vehicle), on July 29.

On August 5, Li Auto relaunched the Li i8, reducing available variants from three to one and lowering prices following disappointing initial reception.

The company launched the Li i6 on September 26, its second pure-electric SUV after the Li i8.

Deliveries for the Li i8 commenced on August 20, while the Li i6 began shipping on September 27.

Li Auto aims for stable monthly deliveries of 6,000 units for the Li i8 and 9,000-10,000 units for the Li i6 by year-end, founder, chairman, and CEO Li Xiang said on September 1.

Including the Li Mega, Li Auto's overall battery electric vehicle (BEV) models will stabilize at 18,000-20,000 units monthly, Li noted at the time.

Li Auto has pledged to cover potential vehicle purchase tax benefit losses for customers who order the Li i6 before October 31.
