GWM (HKG: 2333) sold 133,639 vehicles in September, marking a new high this year with a 23.29 percent year-on-year increase and a 15.65 percent rise from August, according to a Hong Kong Stock Exchange announcement today.
Overseas sales hit a record 50,269 units, up 13.98 percent year-on-year and up 11.30 percent month-on-month, accounting for 37.62 percent of total sales.
GWM's NEV sales reached a record 45,961 units in September, up 52.55 percent year-on-year and 22.58 percent month-on-month, contributing 34.39 percent to GWM's monthly sales.
Haval remained GWM's primary sales driver, with the sub-brand selling 81,923 units in September -- a 30.24 percent year-on-year increase and an 18.88 percent rise from August -- contributing 61.30 percent of GWM's monthly sales.
The Tank brand sold 21,441 units in September, marking its fifth consecutive month exceeding 20,000 units. This represents a 14.41 percent year-on-year increase and a 7.09 percent rise from August. The brand contributed 16.04 percent to GWM's monthly sales in September.
The premium Wey brand sold 11,026 units in September, up 63.23 percent year-on-year and 37.34 percent month-on-month.
From January to September, GWM sold 923,358 vehicles, representing an 8.15 percent year-on-year increase.
Overseas sales reached 334,181 units, up 3.06 percent year-on-year, accounting for 36.19 percent of GWM's total sales during this period.
The Haval brand sold 528,483 units from January to September, marking a 12.03 percent year-on-year increase and contributing 57.23 percent to GWM's total sales during this period.
The Tank brand sold 165,143 vehicles during the same period, a 2.75 percent year-on-year decrease, contributing 17.89 percent of GWM's total sales for the period.
The Wey brand sold 63,593 vehicles from January to September, a 96.35 percent year-on-year increase, contributing 6.89 percent of GWM's total sales for the period.
