MG launched the redesigned MG4 on August 29 with a discounted starting price of RMB 65,800.
As of today, MG Motor has delivered over 10,000 units of its new MG4 model, the SAIC Motor (SHA: 600104) brand announced today.
This milestone comes just 24 days after the redesigned MG4 went on sale.
MG launched the redesigned MG4 in China on August 29, the opening day of the 2025 Chengdu auto show, with a starting guide price of just RMB 68,800 ($9,670) and a discounted price starting at RMB 65,800.
The updated MG4 features a variant equipped with a semi-solid-state battery, starting at RMB 102,800 ($15,700) with discounts bringing the price down to RMB 99,800 ($15,100).

The all-new MG4 has a starting guide price of just RMB 68,800 ($9,650), making it one of the most affordable EVs in the Chinese market.
