The E5 Sportback was launched in China on September 16 with a starting price of RMB 235,900 ($33,160).
AUDI -- the new brand jointly launched by Audi and SAIC (SHA: 600104) -- has commenced deliveries of the E5 Sportback.
The brand held a delivery ceremony at the SAIC Audi flagship store "Audi City" on Weihai Road in Shanghai.
The E5 Sportback was launched in China on September 16, offering four trim levels priced at RMB 235,900 ($33,160), RMB 269,900, RMB 269,900, and RMB 319,900 respectively.
This mid-size sedan with a station wagon design is built on the Advanced Digitized Platform developed through Audi and SAIC's collaboration.
Its dimensions are 4,881 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,479 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm.
AUDI is a new brand jointly launched by Audi and SAIC in China on November 8, 2024, which debuted its first concept car, the E concept, at the time. The E5 Sportback is the production model developed from this concept car.
