The Geely Galaxy A7 hybrid sedan has received more than 10,000 firm orders just one day after its launch, the Geely Auto (HKG: 0175) sub-brand announced today.
The A7 was launched during an evening event yesterday, with a starting price of RMB 89,800 ($12,500).
Customers who purchase any variant before September 30 will receive a trade-in discount of RMB 8,000, reducing the actual starting price of the Galaxy A7 to RMB 81,800.
The Geely Galaxy A7 is a mid-size sedan with dimensions of 4,918 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,845 mm.
It is the first plug-in hybrid sedan developed based on Geely's GEA architecture (Global Intelligent New Energy Architecture) and will compete with hybrid sedans such as the Qin L DM-i and Seal 06 DM-i.
