FAW-Audi, a joint venture between Audi and FAW Group, has officially launched the Q6L e-tron family of SUVs (sport utility vehicles) equipped with Huawei's smart driving system.
The family includes the Audi Q6L e-tron and Audi Q6L Sportback e-tron, with prices ranging from RMB 348,800 ($48,590) to RMB 398,800, a reduction from the pre-sale prices announced on July 26.
The Audi Q6L e-tron Long Range Edition is priced at RMB 348,800, while the Pioneer Edition is priced at RMB 378,800. Their pre-sale prices were RMB 353,000 and RMB 383,000, respectively.
The Audi Q6L Sportback e-tron Long Range Edition is priced at RMB 368,800, while the Pioneer Edition is priced at RMB 398,800. Their pre-sale prices were RMB 373,000 and RMB 403,000, respectively.
The Q6L e-tron family is developed based on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform, which is a high-end electric vehicle platform created by borrowing components and technical modules from Volkswagen's MEB (Modular electric drive matrix) and Porsche's J1 architecture.
The higher-priced variants of both models come standard with free Audi-customized Huawei Qiankun smart driving technology.
