In the first seven months of the year, Nio Inc delivered 135,167 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 25.24 percent.

The Nio main brand delivered 87,120 vehicles in January-July, down 19.28 percent year-on-year.

Onvo delivered 37,838 vehicles in January-July, bringing its cumulative deliveries since September 2024 to 58,599 vehicles.

Onvo officially launched its flagship SUV (sport utility vehicle) L90 yesterday, with a starting price of RMB 265,800 ($36,850) including an 85-kWh battery pack.

This represents a further reduction of RMB 14,100, or 5.04 percent, from the previously competitive pre-sales price of RMB 279,900.

Earlier today, Onvo announced that the first deliveries of the L90 have begun in 44 cities across China.

The L90 appears to have been well received, although Nio has not disclosed order numbers as usual.

Onvo said yesterday that it has increased the number of vehicles available for test drives from 600 to 1,000 to reduce customer wait times.

The busy scenes at Onvo stores circulating on social media, along with the L90's more robust production readiness, suggest that the model could significantly boost Nio Inc's August delivery volume.

The Onvo L90 starts at RMB 265,800 ($36,940) including the battery pack, with aggressive pricing clearly indicating Nio's high hopes for the model.
